Session Abstract:
In the last year, "open" has become the calling card of social networks and there is a rush for each social networking site to declare their willingness to embrace new partners and business models. But how open really are these sites, and what is the business logic behind casting aside walled gardens? This panel will examine the evolution of open, federated social platforms and explore how they will evolve. We will also touch on the business model of these federated networks and also the implications for the communications industry.
