Fred Rogers, manager of next-generation IP network services for Sprint
In his current role, Rogers has responsibility for preparing Sprint’s production networks for migration to IPv6. He joined Sprint in December 1996.
Prior to this role, Rogers served Sprint in multiple capacities over a period of several years, including as Principal Engineer II and Sr. Manager where he functioned as the Chief Architect and Lead Designer for Sprint’s Wireless Data Network and Operational Support Systems Network. Rogers continues to investigate advanced technologies and is currently contributing to the success of Sprint’s Next Generation IP initiatives.
Prior to Sprint, Rogers worked for Houston Associates, Inc. where he served as a Network Engineer designing and deploying the Defense Simulation Internet (DSI) and the Defense Information Systems Network – Leading Edge Services (DISN-LES).
Rogers is a graduate of Kansas State University with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
